Why choose the GEMSTONE OPAL Pool Table?
The Opal is a great high-quality, solid timber table that is a great choice for people who want a table that plays like a professional table without breaking the bank. It is a classic design, plays brilliantly and is very durable, enough so that it can withstand endless games from friends and family for decades to come.
Don’t compromise on quality
The Opal is made with a solid box-frame construction, which features hardwood rails and six 5½-inch rounded legs bolted directly into the solid timber frame. The frame has five 7-inch by 1-inch solid timber cross-members that the one-piece slate sits on, and the leather pocket protectors are hand-stitched onto solid bolted-down chrome brackets which is far superior to screw-on pockets.
Regarding the slate and cloth
Although pool table slate has traditionally been sourced from Italy, slate exported from Brazil is now widely used by the best billiards manufacturers in the world as it offers greater abrasive resistance allowing for a better finish. The one-piece Brazilian slate used in the Opal also meets the international standard of ¾-inch thickness and the high-grade English directional cloth allows for fast, smooth play with superior spin to enhance gameplay.
Is there a Warranty?
The Opal Pool Table comes with a 10-year warranty on the frame and a lifetime warranty on the slate.
How much space do I need?
